One characteristic common to all of Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue’s Buildings was that Lee Lawrie would not only create sculpture for the exterior of the buildings, but Lawrie would create a myriad of additional details, including fireplace mantles, lock-sets, lamps, gates and additional engaged sculpture carved into the very buildings themselves.
