Ramsey County Courthouse and City Hall

St. Paul, Minnesota · 1933

The July 1933 issue of American Architect paired its coverage of Chicago’s Century of Progress with an illustrated feature on the Ramsey County Courthouse and City Hall in St. Paul.

The feature records two works by Lee Lawrie for the building, including the Industry and Agriculture reliefs and a street scene. An Art Deco elevator door also appears on the page, preserved here as a period detail but not attributed to Lawrie.
